What data do we collect?
Remode collects the following data:
- Email and (if you choose to give) any name data is kept in records
- Computer technical specifications, performance data and your outbound IP based estimated location information is also kept for the reason that this is actually the service we are providing. ;)
How do we collect your data?
You directly provide Remode with all of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Register online.
- Voluntarily run the agent on your computer in order to view the reports.
- Enter your computer grid information into our web application.
Remode decides an estimated city and country information from your IP, checking from public online databases, which you can also do online yourself.
How will we use your data?
Remode collects your data so that we can:
- Show you your computer's (or your grid's) inventory and performance issues.
- Show you your location's (or your grid's) internet connection speeds.
Remode currently has no plans to share your data with any partner companies so that they may offer you their products and services.
If and when we will have such plan we will share it with you first, with an option to opt-out.
If and when Remode processes any order from you, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.
How do we store your data?
Remode securely stores your data at DigitalOcean SSD Virtual Private Servers in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Remode will keep your inventory and performance data for 3 months. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data.
Remode would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like.
If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.
You have the right at any time to stop Remode from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your data to other members of the NodOnce OÜ.
If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please opt-out.
What are your data protection rights?
Remode would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request Remode for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Remode correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Remode to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Remode erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Remode restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Remode’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Remode transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
