We collect information you voluntarily provide (such as email addresses and fashion preferences), images you upload for analysis, and automated data including device information, usage patterns, and cookies. All data collection is designed to improve your fashion discovery experience.
We use your information to: provide personalized fashion recommendations, improve our AI matching algorithms, enhance app functionality, ensure platform security, and deliver relevant content. We never sell your personal information to third parties. Our processing is based on GDPR Art. 6 (1) (a) consent and (1) (f) legitimate interest.
To enhance and improve our services, Remode collects anonymized and aggregated image data generated through your interactions with our platform. These images are exclusively used to train and refine Remode's AI model, optimizing the accuracy of our fashion discovery and matching capabilities. Your privacy remains paramount—images used in AI training are anonymized and cannot be traced back to individual users.

We collect anonymized usage events such as searches performed, features used, and navigation patterns. For registered users, events are linked to your account to provide personalized insights. PostHog does not collect your Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and is not used for cross-app tracking. You may opt out of non-essential analytics through the app's settings. When the app encounters an error, we collect crash logs, device model, operating system version, and app state at the time of the crash. This data is used solely to diagnose and fix technical issues. Sentry's privacy policy.
Both services process data on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
With your permission, Remode collects your approximate location (city-level) while the app is in use to display nearby fashion stores and localized pricing. Your location is not stored on our servers, tracked in the background, or shared with third parties. You may revoke location access at any time through your device settings.
Remode generates a random, device-derived identifier to enforce usage limits for unauthenticated users (e.g., free search allowance). This identifier is not linked to your Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA), is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking, and is not shared with third parties.
If you opt in, we collect a push notification token to send you updates about your search results and product alerts. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Tokens are not shared with third parties.
Remode is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@remode.app, and we will promptly delete such information.
