We respect your privacy. We collect minimal data to make Remode work, we never sell your information, and you can delete everything anytime. If you opt out of AI training, we delete your photos after processing.

When You Create an Account
Email address (to log you in and send important updates)
Password (encrypted, we can't see it)
Display name (optional)
When You Use Remode
Photos you upload (temporarily stored to search for matches)
Search history (what you searched for, when)
Usage data (how many searches, which features you use)
Device info (iOS/Android version, device type—helps us fix bugs)

How We Use Your Data
To Make Remode Work
Match your photos with fashion products using AI and search APIs
Save your search history so you can revisit items
Process payments through Apple/Google (we don't see your credit card)
To Improve the App
Fix bugs and improve search accuracy
Understand which features people use
Send you updates about your account (usage limits, subscription changes)
AI Training (Optional)
By default, your photos may be used to improve our AI models
You can opt out anytime in Settings → Privacy → AI Training
If you opt out, we delete your photos after search completion

Gemini AI → Image analysis
We never sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.
Legal Obligations:
We may share data if required by law (court order, subpoena), but we'll notify you unless legally prohibited.
Children's Privacy
Remode is not intended for users under 13. If we discover a child's account, we'll delete it immediately.
International Transfers
Your data may be processed in:

EU/EEA (GDPR-compliant data centers)
USA (cloud providers with standard contractual clauses)
If you're in the EU, your data is protected by GDPR safeguards.
Changes to This Policy
We'll notify you of major changes via email or in-app notification. Minor updates (typos, clarifications) won't trigger notifications.
