Price check
The honest answer: often, yes. The same piece is regularly priced differently across stores. Remode searches a photo of the item and puts the stores side by side.

Actual app screens. This result is labeled Similar Match. Prices and availability can change.
Checking used to mean opening five retailer tabs and hoping you searched the right words. A photo of the piece replaces all of that.

Exact-match results for the same piece are the ones whose prices are truly comparable.
If the piece has been out for a season, resale listings can undercut every store.
The same jacket is routinely priced 10-40% apart across authorized retailers — regional pricing, promo timing, and stock clearing all move the number. From one photo, the check costs seconds: see which stores carry the piece right now and at what price, with second-hand listings beside retail.
Remode is designed to make the pre-store decision clearer. These signals help you judge whether a result is worth opening.
Is it an exact match, a strong visual match, or a similar alternative?
Compare the listed price with the retailer, shipping, and current availability.
Check similar styles or second-hand when the original is expensive, sold out, or hard to source.
A jacket is rarely one product. The same style ships lined and unlined, with down or synthetic fill, in a regular and a long cut, and each version has its own price. Retailers also stock different colorways: a core black tends to hold full price while a seasonal green is marked down first.
Regional pricing adds another layer. A jacket listed in euros, francs, pounds and dollars is not one price converted; it is several prices set separately, and a store that looks cheaper may not ship to you at all. A jacket from last season can look identical in a product photo while sitting in a clearance section under a different article number. A price check that ignores these differences compares things that are not the same.
The exact label means Remode is confident the store sells the same jacket, so its price is comparable. A best visual match may be the same model in another colorway or last year's cut, and a similar result is another jacket entirely; neither price should be treated as the price of your jacket.
Before you tap through, compare the currency shown, then open the store to check shipping cost, delivery time and the return window. A low sticker price with paid returns can cost more than a higher price with free returns. For second-hand listings, read the condition notes and look for the care label in the seller photos. Remode ranks results without any influence from commercial terms; some store links are affiliate links, and the purchase always happens on the retailer's own site.
Remode cannot compare prices for a jacket that no store lists online: a vintage piece, a sample, a custom order or a tiny label that sells only in its own shop. It also cannot see member pricing, prices shown after login, or a coupon applied at checkout, so the store page can still end up lower than the card. If every result is labeled similar, the jacket itself was not found and the prices belong to other jackets. Try a second image from a different angle, and if it still does not appear, read the guide on finding sold-out clothes or the wider cheaper-clothes overview.
Search a photo of it in Remode. Exact-match results list the stores carrying the same piece with their current prices, so the comparison is direct.
Save the item and watch it in Remode. The app can notify you when the price drops or the piece restocks.
Yes — the same photo search works for dresses, shoes, bags, denim, and most clothing categories.
Brands and retailers set prices per market, so the euro, franc and dollar figures are chosen separately rather than converted. Taxes and import duties land on top of a lower foreign price when the parcel crosses a border, so compare the delivered cost. Remode's store routes show which stores ship to your region.
Often. Core colors such as black or navy tend to hold full price longer, while seasonal shades are discounted earlier. When Remode labels a result as best visual match rather than exact, check whether it is the same jacket in another color before you treat that price as yours.
Outerwear is usually discounted toward the end of its season, but common sizes sell out before that point. If you can live without the jacket for now, save it in Remode and let the watch report price drops and restocks. If you need your size soon, a small saving is not worth the risk of missing it.
